"If you are looking for a tour of Costa Rica to delightful "off the beaten track" locations, you probably can't do better than this. A great itinerary: from a close-up view of an active volcano; hikes through the jungle; a canopy tour; walks through small towns and local markets; to the spectacular Pacific Coast of the Osa Peninsula. Accommodation was excellent, consisting mostly of secluded lodges and inns.
|
Photographic opportunities were plentiful during the 10 days with sufficient variety to appeal to a wide range of interests in subject matter and artistic challenge, including birds and other wildlife; active volcanoes; people; architecture and street scenes and seascapes."

"Thank you so very much for your hospitality and professional knowledge you so willingly shared with us.
How does one select a favorite moment from such as: Pacific sunsets, volcano eruptions, hooting monkeys in the night, colorful butterflies everywhere, red-eyed green tree frogs, scarlet birds overhead, quaint villages with friendly people, all of which we enjoyed each day of our visit.
|
Best of all was meeting you and Michele, so now we can say we have new friends.
All the best,"

"When you are bored or tired of the mundane trips you have had and are looking to go to really unique places, Frank's trips are as good as it gets!
How about a stop at a beautiful resort high in the hills overlooking the vast Pacific and being greeted and guided to your cabin by the owner (dressed in nothing but a bathtowel). Perhaps you would like to sit up all night to watch a spectacular night show as a volcano explodes across the valley or take a trip into the vast forest to the end of the road, forging rivers and struggling over basic trails in a 4 wheel drive unit to another excellent lodge above a pristine sand beach with not a soul in sight, (fabulous food here too). A scenic tour of a Serpentarium provides great access for photos and if you want, you get to handle some serpents too -- just the friendly ones though!!
|
Be sure to take lots of film -- you will use it. Admittedly Anne and I always go through a lot but this time we set a record what with all the available subjects -- 1000 shots each!!
All in all a great trip, well done, and much appreciated.
Thanks Frank!"

"In July 1996 I participated in a week-long photo tour around the Trinity Bay area of Newfoundland that was organized and led by Frank Scott. I found the tour was very well organized, with visits to many photogenic locations, and ample time for
|
photography. There was also good food and accommodation provided, as well as a sense of camaraderie amongst participants. Altogether a very enjoyable experience."

"The Newfoundland Photo Tour was well organized with photo locations obviously well scouted previously. In addition, the transportation, accommodation and meal arrangements were excellent. The tour concentrated on two regions of the province that allowed participants the opportunity to gain a good
|
appreciation of the cultural and physical aspects of each area. It was organized in a manner that created an environment that permitted a most relaxed and enjoyable experience for all participants."
